QuizStrix Privacy Policy

Summary

QuizStrix is a quiz and learning app. The current mobile app does not require account registration and does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, location, camera access, microphone access, contacts, files, payment information, or advertising identifiers.

QuizStrix stores gameplay progress and preferences locally on the user's device so the app can remember scores, daily goals, medals, mistakes, language settings, and sound settings. This local gameplay data is not sent to our servers by the current release.

Information We Collect

The app itself does not collect personal information from users.

The app may create and store the following non-account gameplay information locally on the device:

• quiz progress, score, streak, medals, player status, daily goals, and recent round history;
• recent mistakes and selected answers, used to help the user review questions;
• sound on/off setting, sound volume, interface language, and similar app preferences.

This data is stored on the user's device using local app storage. It is used only to provide app functionality and is not transferred to us by the current release.

Support Emails

If a user contacts us by email, we receive the email address, message content, and any information the user chooses to include. We use this information only to answer the request, diagnose reported issues, or provide support related to QuizStrix.

Support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and maintain support records. A user may request deletion of support correspondence by contacting us at [email protected].

Permissions

QuizStrix may include the following Android permissions:

• Internet: included for the app runtime and future app connectivity. The current release uses bundled quiz content and does not send gameplay progress to our servers.
• Vibration: used only for short haptic feedback during app interactions.

QuizStrix does not request camera, microphone, contacts, precise location, SMS, phone, calendar, or external storage permissions.

How We Use Information

Local gameplay data is used to:

• show progress, scores, streaks, medals, daily goals, and player status;
• remember mistakes and allow review sessions;
• keep sound and language preferences between app launches;
• improve the user's learning experience on the device.

Support email data is used only to respond to user inquiries and provide support.

Sharing

QuizStrix does not sell personal data and does not share app gameplay data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers.

The current release does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, social login SDKs, or tracking SDKs.

Google Play and the Android operating system may process information related to app download, installation, crash reporting, billing if applicable, and device operation according to Google's own policies and user settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local gameplay data remains on the user's device until the user deletes it. The user can remove this data by using the in-app progress reset option, clearing the app's storage in Android settings, or uninstalling the app.

Because QuizStrix currently does not create user accounts or send gameplay progress to our servers, we do not have server-side gameplay data to delete for the current release.

Security

QuizStrix keeps gameplay data locally on the device. Users should protect their device with normal device security measures such as screen lock, operating system updates, and app updates from trusted stores.

If support communication happens by email, email transmission and storage depend on the user's email provider and our email provider.

Children

QuizStrix is a general quiz and learning app and is not specifically directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support communication, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

International Use

QuizStrix can be used in multiple interface languages. The privacy practices described in this policy apply to users regardless of selected app language.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal, platform, or operational requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
